It aims to boost the position of language in education and to effect respective changes to educational systems across the world. .

WHY ERLG
Language is more than a subject taught at school.
It shapes how we understand ourselves, others and the world.
This view is shared by various entities which promote the key role of language in education via different solutions and names (such as language-driven education, language-sensitive pedagogy, etc.). ERL Group is meant as a common platform for these various positions to be reconciled and mutually boosted.
HOW ERLG OPERATES
As the institutional (informal) “sister” of ERL Association, ERL Group serves cooperation between language-oriented educational establishments and brings together their ideas and resources.
