ERL JOURNAL rests on the open access policy. Accordingly, it permits any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its texts (scholarly papers, reports, and reviews) and to use them for any other lawful purpose. Meant to serve a greater global exchange of knowledge on the key strata of education and language, ERL Journal strives to make its content easily available to readers around the world, who can use its texts without prior permission of the publisher as long as the original author and the texts’ source are acknowledged. All the texts published in ERL Journal are free to access immediately from the date of publication. We do not charge fees for any reader to download texts for their own scholarly use.

ERL Journal operates under the premises of the International Association for the Educational Role of Language (ERL Association – ERLA). With ERLA’s Regulations stipulating non-profit scientific, educational, cultural, and social activity, ERL Journal adheres to its mission and so allows for the reproduction of articles, free of charge, for non-commercial use only and with the appropriate citation information. All authors publishing with ERL Journal accept these as the terms of publication, which – legally speaking –  imply that the authors retain copyright whilst ERLA, as ERL Journal’s publisher, is authorised to disseminate the content on any platform and in any means ERLA deems (ethically and scientifically) appropriate for the fulfilment of its scholarly goals and promotion of the journal authors’ findings and conceptualisations. The rules apply to all possible formats of ERL Journal.
