SCOPE: Examining if we can predict one’s grade in ESP classes, using the designed application, based on one’s way of presenting oneself in a short biographical essay

 

TITLE: Comparison of employers’ and students’ perceptions regarding communication skills

SCOPE: Interviewing potential employers and students studying in the fields of electrical and computer engineering and comparing their views on the importance of communication skills in everyday work situations

SCOPE: Using software for text and statistical analysis to compare male and female politicians’ speeches

 

TITLE: Employing experiments and interactive materials in teaching technical English vocabulary

SCOPE: Carrying out a number of in-class interactive activities to teach new technical vocabulary. Testing students’ knowledge prior, during and after the experiment. Comparing the control and experimental groups’ results on vocabulary acquisitions
